Have lived in Leadville for the last 22 years. I have been in the business for 20 years and owned my own office for 15 of those years. I sell real estate and do property management. Have served on the Chamber Board, the Victorian Home Tour Board. Currently run the Celebrity Burro Race in Leadville and Buena Vista. Have two sons one at the University of Colorado and currently playing offensive line for the New England Patriots. The other a graduate of Stanford and currently getting his masters at the University of Utah in Salt Lake

I have been in real estate one way or another for most of my life. My mother was a property manager during my growing up years. I got my first resident manager job for a 48 unit apartment complex when I was 20 years old. Later, when I lived in Arizona, I wasn't happy with a realtor I had hired, so I went to real estate school and passed the Arizona real estate test in order to learn what he should have been doing. Although I never practiced, I did learn a lot.
In 1995, when I moved to Buena Vista, I managed an apartment complex and a mobile home park. I also owned a local motel/cabin complex in Buena Vista that I rented as a motel in the summer and long term cabins in the winter.
Since Jan. 2006, I have worked at United Country Alpine Realty as the bookeeper, secretary, and in the property manament department (both short term and long term rentals). Getting my real estate license in Colorado was the next logical step.
I'm excited about helping people take the next step in their lives, whether that be selling or buying. I would love to help you with that exciting time in your life.

Bruce and Mary Lou live and work together to provide you a team who has residential and commercial experience with real estate and a passion for our community.
Bruce has 34 years of experience in both residential and commercial sales. He is past president of the Board of Realtors and the Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce. Bruce is a graduate of the University of Oregon. He has worked as a stock broker and has several years experience in international banking in Germany and Holland.
Mary Lou came to Chaffee County in 1980 from Buffalo New York to raise her family in a small caring town. She has grown with our community, to share her love of art, as part of the Courtyard Gallery.
Many know her cooking as Variations Catering, providing meals for many fund raising events and community celebrations. She has now joined Bruce at United Country Realty to add her local knowledge and contacts to the team.
Together you will find them volunteering at local events or ridding their bicycles around town or on some exotic island for vacation.
